Third Time’s the Charm picks up where Second Glance left off and invites the PC to find a wizard who can help heal the Crystalline Curse slowly paralyzing Garren, the PC’s friend and protector. As the party grows closer on this adventure, learning to depend on one another, they must also navigate the Veiled Wood’s changing landscape, deciding who they can trust and who they will help.

Though this was written as the third installment in the Crystalline Curse Trilogy, this adventure can be inserted into any campaign setting and scaled accordingly. In this adventure, a hungry force is destroying the forest and the small town outside its borders. The Penshaw Poisonings adventure is set in our homebrew world of Azuria and available exclusively to our DnD Duet Community! love the story. my bf and I are using this as our introduction to DND. is there a continuation to this base story? so many unanswered questions! or is that when the DM would pick up and make it up?

I’m so delighted to hear that you and your bf enjoyed the story! That makes me really happy!
The short answer is that there isn’t an exact continuation of the story. We have two adventures that make great follow-ups: The Proving Glade, for level 4, and In the Heart of the Forest, for level 5. I think they would fit in great with whatever new threads you weave as a DM! We’ve started to make sequel adventures to the Trilogy, but they are on hold for now.
The longer answer is that these adventures emerged out of our home game, with some significant changes to set them in the Forgotten Realms, but we’ve returned to writing adventures primarily in our home-brew world of Azuria. You can purchase those adventures on this site or DriveThruRPG.
The story about the amulet, in its full version, I’ve actually written into an epic fantasy novel series called Age of Azuria. The third novel in the series comes out later this summer.
There have been lots of DMs who have continued the Trilogy on into their own campaigns, which was our original intention for the three adventures. We didn’t realize, when we made them, that there would be so much interest in continuing them on into a longer campaign! Other DMs have pivoted the stories into existing campaigns like Waterdeep: Dragon Heist.
